MELBOURNE, Thursday June 1, 2023 – Hot off the heels of the biggest North American stadium tour of 2022 with more than 1.3 million tickets sold, the world’s most iconic and celebrated rock legends Def Leppard and Mötley CrĂŒe continue their 2023 co-headline ‘The World Tour’ with the announcement of 3 exclusive Australian dates.

Produced by Live Nation and presented by Triple M, Mötley CrĂŒe and Def Leppard will bring their electrifying stage shows to Australia commencing with Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium on November 8, Giants Stadium Sydney on November 11, and Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium on November 14.

The artists’ exclusive, 72-hour ticket pre-sale commences on Friday, June 2 – Brisbane and Melbourne kicking off at 9am, and Sydney at 10am.

Vodafone customers can secure tickets during a 48 hour pre-sale commencing Monday, June 5 – Brisbane and Melbourne at 10am and Sydney at 11am. Head to Vodafone.com.au/ticket

The Live Nation pre-sale commences on Wednesday, June 7 – Brisbane and Melbourne at 11am, running until 10am on Thursday June 8, and Sydney from 12pm until 11am on Thursday June 8.

In what will be one of the live events of 2023, Def Leppard are coming home! On the eve of the bands biggest ever European tour and the launch of new album, “Drastic Symphonies”, Def Leppard are set to play a one off club show at the iconic Sheffield venue, The Leadmill.

The 850 capacity venue will be treated to a must see performance from one of Britain’s greatest ever rock bands. It will be a huge night for fans of the band who get the chance to hear the bands extraordinary stadium style catalogue in a club setting. It will be the most intimate show the band have played in the UK or Europe in 35 years. The setlist will be for one night only – unique to this show and different to the setlist the band will play three days later, when they start the UK and European tour at a SOLD OUT Sheffield United’s Bramall Lane on Monday 22nd May 2023.

The band are looking to shine a light on The Leadmill, a vital part of the Sheffield and national UK music scene and is amongst many of the small UK music venues threatened with closure. Net proceeds from ticket sales from The Leadmill show will be donated to Music Venue Trust who diligently work to help struggling UK music venues.

Joe Elliott says “Sheffield is in the very DNA of this band! We are ecstatic to be starting the European leg of our world tour at home at Bramall Lane! When thinking of a warm up, it made sense to do a special set at The Leadmill, in the city where it all started. We know there are a lot of small music venues struggling across the UK, so we wanted to give back to what gave to us. The net proceeds from the evening will go directly to Music Venue Trust in an effort to keep UK clubs alive
and to coincide with the release of our symphonic record, “Drastic Symphonies”, on the 19th of May. It’s all very special!”

The official decision has been made to move all 2020 North American Stadium Tour dates into the summer of 2021. We wanted to reach out to all of our amazing fans and let you know that we’ve been hard at work preparing an amazing show. Our priority during this unprecedented time is to make sure that we are being as thoughtful and responsible as possible in the decisions we are making regarding the stadium tour and that we are putting the fans’ health, well being and safety first and foremost. We are currently weighing all options and are awaiting further direction from the powers that be. WHO:              With more than 100 million albums sold worldwide and two prestigious Diamond Awards in the U.S., legendary rock band and 2019 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees,  Def Leppard will take over SiriusXM’s Hair Nation channel this weekend.  Def Leppard continue to be one of the most important forces in rock music, and over the course of their career, the band have produced a series of classic ground-breaking albums that have set the bar for generations of music fans and artists alike.
