R.I.P. Status Quo’s Rick Parfitt
“We grew up on STATUS QUO as kids & have a great respect for them & their legacy … I hung out with Rick P in the mid 80s, he showed me the rudimentary scales on the piano which I still refer back to even now .. we almost wrote a great song together , sadly it remains & will remain unfinished … a truly genuine & funny guy … RIP Rick.

RIP ROCKLINE’S BOB COBURN
Bob Coburn, longtime host on Los Angeles rock station KLOS and the equally longtime host of the syndicated show ROCKLINE, passed away on Saturday, following a battle with lung cancer. Read more about Bob HERE
“I don’t think I’ve ever been interviewed by anyone more passionate about music & supportive of the arts as Bob Coburn. He was a true gent & had probably forgotten more about music than most of us ever knew, a fantastic guy who will be sorely missed, rest in peace Bob, you deserve it” – Joe Elliott
“So very sad to hear of the passing of our old friend Bob Coburn earlier today. Bob was the voice of Rockline. He was a true champion of the genre, and an encyclopedic lover of the music. R.I.P. Bob. You will be missed by many.” – Vivian Campbell

“I had this idea that we should film one of the shows from the 2016 tour because apart from the ‘Viva Hysteria’ shows, we hadn’t actually had a live performance filmed since 1988. With a new album out that was being so well received, it was just a case of where to do it. From the second the house lights went down, we could see the sun setting from the stage, and the energy from the crowd just seemed to intensify. It was a good choice and a great way to document Def Leppard in 2016.” – Joe Elliott
