For the first time ever, Def Leppard has come together to share their personal collections of band artifacts including personal memorabilia, gear, letters, clothes, art, and more. The Def Leppard Vault will serve as a constantly curated museum including special installations, where fans can gather to see the band’s history from 1977 to now. Joe, Sav, Rick, Phil and Viv will also be recording stories and memories & will be sharing in tandem with the historic collection.

Rare Interview: 24 Hour Tour Special (Noisy Mothers, 17th November 1995) – 3 Shows/3 Continents/1 Day

Back on October 23, 1995, the band embarked on a record-breaking 24 hour tour of 3 continents; playing acoustic shows in Morocco, England, and Canada in support of their first greatest hits album release ‘Vault: Def Leppard Greatest Hits (1980–1995)’. This rare TV special, which was broadcast on 17th November 1995, contains interviews and live music performances from the tour.

Happy Def Leppard day!

On this day in 1995, the City of Sheffield honored the band with the key to the city and a plaque commemorating October 5th as ‘Def Leppard Day’. Also on this day in 1993, album ‘Visualize’ was released. Def Leppard day indeed! 🤘

Hysteria Week – Thank you for celebrating 33 years with us!

Some highlights from the band’s Hysteria vault:

This t-shirt was given to Steve by one of his fans. He cut the sleeves off and he’d wear it backstage and in soundcheck before changing into his stage clothes. He really liked the artwork and appreciated that someone took the time to make it for him. This has been packed away in Steve’s personal suitcase for 30 years.

Steve Clark’s personal copy of the Hysteria “(Panic – In The Round)” World Tour Book for the United States, dated December-January, 1987-1988. 📔 “These itineraries were amazing. We would all receive a copy so we could coordinate travel. A really cool item – especially if you wanted to know exactly where we were on the Hysteria tour.”

Steve Clark’s red, all access laminate for the Japanese tour dates of the 1988 Hysteria World Tour. 🇯🇵 The band was amazed by the Japanese fans. Steve used to receive home-crafted dolls in his image and likeness from them. They would throw them onstage or hand them to him if they got the chance.
