Joe Elliott’s Down ‘n’ Outz Announce Live Album

Joe Elliott’s side band Down ‘n’ Outz announce the release of a brand new live album “The Further Live Adventures Of …” on December 1, 2017.  The live album, recorded in Sheffield Corporation in December 2014, will be available 2CD/DVD, Blu-ray, vinyl and digital. In addition, on the same day, the band will reissue their previous records “My Re-Generation” and “The Further Adventures Of …” on CD, LP and digital.

The Down ‘N’ Outz fronted by Joe and backed by members of The Quireboys, Wayward Sons and Vixen. The band pays tribute to rock legends Mott The Hoople and was established from the most unusual of circumstances … in the words of Joe Elliott:  “When Mott The Hoople announced they were reforming for a week’s worth of shows at the Hammersmith Odeon I was asked that I participate in some capacity. They’ve always been my favourite band and it’s nice to see the rest of the rock world finally catch up and give them their due.”

Joe Elliott Remembers Tom Petty

“I can’t say I knew Tom, although I did meet him twice, once to get his autograph backstage after I saw him open for Nils Lofgren at the Sheffield City Hall in 1978, and in a bowling alley of all places in 1983 when Def Leppard & Tom happened to be in the same town on the same night, but I’m incredibly saddened by the news of Tom Petty’s passing. I love that 1st album (that’s what he signed for me!), always have, always will, but I have to add that Full Moon Fever was played on an almost daily basis when Leppard were writing & recording the Adrenalize album. Through his work with the Heartbreakers and The Traveling Wilburys he’s left us with an incredible legacy to enjoy forever, it’s such a shame he has left us way before his time.

Def Leppard Rock In Rio 32 Years Later

32 years after the originally scheduled Rock In Rio performance, Def Leppard’s triumphant return last night was one for the books! Fans tuned in worldwide to watch the guys deliver an epic performance with hits including the #1 single “Love Bites” and “Pour Some Sugar On Me” in addition to songs from their 2015 self-titled release “Let’s Go” and “Man Enough”
