“I’m heartbroken at the news of the passing of our old friend Pete Way especially coming so close to that of Paul Raymond & Paul Chapman .. I’d known Pete since 1980 when I went to see UFO & Girl play together at the Sheffield City Hall & we were mates ever since… we’ve played together, laughed & cried together, done naughty things together but beyond all of that he was a genuinely great guy, a complete lunatic, but a totally lovable character, a proper rock star who burned to candle way beyond both ends but certainly brightened the lives a of a lot of people along the way. Rest in peace my friend….” – Joe Elliott

Some highlights from the band’s Hysteria vault:

This t-shirt was given to Steve by one of his fans. He cut the sleeves off and he’d wear it backstage and in soundcheck before changing into his stage clothes. He really liked the artwork and appreciated that someone took the time to make it for him. This has been packed away in Steve’s personal suitcase for 30 years.

Steve Clark’s personal copy of the Hysteria “(Panic – In The Round)” World Tour Book for the United States, dated December-January, 1987-1988. 📔 “These itineraries were amazing. We would all receive a copy so we could coordinate travel. A really cool item – especially if you wanted to know exactly where we were on the Hysteria tour.”

Steve Clark’s red, all access laminate for the Japanese tour dates of the 1988 Hysteria World Tour. 🇯🇵 The band was amazed by the Japanese fans. Steve used to receive home-crafted dolls in his image and likeness from them. They would throw them onstage or hand them to him if they got the chance.
